bus doo doo
May. 6th, 2003 09:05 pmIt's been a little while. I hadn't drawn in a couple days, and when I had, I'd been working on boarding Drowning City out. This is why you haven't seen any sketchbook excerpts lately.

The lyrics have nothing to do with the figure; I was listening to some White Zombie at the time. They did, however, influence the vaguely cathedralish feel of the bg. Also, I can't decide if her arms are rubbery because she's slipped into rubber-hose animation for a particularly sinuous dance move, or because she's actually a shape-shifting creature masquerading as a woman caught mid-change, or because she's starting to feel the effects of a dose of 'Puddle', a drug that temporarily melts you into a blob of orgasmic bliss, or... think of your own reason.

On the right is one of my co-workers. I think he might have a bit of Innsmouth somewhere in his family tree.
