While dying my hair, I realized something. My boyfriends have never seen me with my natural hair color. As far as they're concerned, pink might as well be its natural color.

Just one of those things that strikes you. It hasn't been black in years.

All but, like, two of my icons on LJ are my art, or are photos of me. If you dig around in the relatively unadvertised photos section of my websiteor the lj pics you'll see a few, but most of them are documenting unusual hair colors. For me.

It's about an hour or so of actual work to bleach and dye, plus time spent letting the stuff work while you do something else. How often you do it depends on how quickly and unaesthetically your usual color fades; blue is much more high-maintenance than reds, for instance.

Of course like I said, I know nothing about hair care. My scalp is a mess too. On the other hand, I'm half dutch and I've already got a growing amount silver/white up top at 26. ^.^;;
