Livejournal now has a tool to let you set huge piles of entries as public/private/friends-only. Paid users only. Is going FRIENDS ONLY!!! with one click worth a couple bucks to you?

Nothing I need, but I know people have been wanting this out of LJ for ages. Me, I want 'em to implement a search that goes behind locked posts, and hits comments...

Ooh, yeah, I remember seeing that post. Obviously it's taking a while to get ready - or for all I know the code is mostly there and we're all just waiting for a slop-sucker process to finish indexing every single LJ post and comment ever...

wow, that's pretty convenient. I was going to go in and update my LJ one month per day, which would've taken me two months. Instead, it made quick work of 130 entries from 2002. THo I still want to go in and apply tags to the entries.
