Okay, this is a new one. I just got spam with the subject line of www.[deleted].com New Emag Blog, News, Expose,' Satire, Poetry about Chicago,Illinois, and Wisconsin.

It is a piece of spam very prosaically advertising just that, at least judging from the content: some kind of regular piece about political stuff going on in IL and WI.

Spam advertising blogs. So wrong.

(Also, the other day I got one for a porn site whose main schtick seems to be hidden-camera videos of men discovering they've been coming on to an MtF. *shiver* I hope they have someone ready to defend these girls if their "victim" gets violent. I just love being part of a sexually fetishized minority.)

(Also, I have given in, and started training Mail to recognize bounces for e-mail viruses I never sent as junk mail. Mail viruses and spam are slowly chewing away at the roots of e-mail, and I wonder when Yggdrasil is going to fall.)

Considering that people have been killed when men have discovered they're not with a 'real' girl, the fear of violence is a very valid concern. I hope their liability insurence is up-to-date as well.

Oh, dear, that's definitely enticing violence. So completely wrong. Yeah, I hope they have some kind of security for those girls, too. Blah, it's like they don't actually see us as people. Oh wait, they don't. Sigh.

Spam... Sigh. Profitable in the short run, but harmful in the long term because of devoured bandwidth. So they do it.

I'm not quite sure the mind that creates and consumes porn generally sees women as people. Never mind a transwoman, given that we're choosing to go to a lower power status in this society...
