happy hole

This morning I went to clean my navel piercing, and noticed that it is now starting to look like an actual proper piercing instead of a raw wound in my body with metal stuck in it. The skin is starting to curve down into the hole.

Yay! Maybe this weekend I'll celebrate this fact by buying a more interesting piece of jewelry for it, one with dangly bits. I won't be able to wear it for several months yet, but what the hey.

Walgreens, Longs Drugs & Rite-Aid are all carrying black nail polish in cat-shaped & jack-o-lantern shaped bottles. Most of the stores in the Bay area are already sold out, but if you send me an address & managed to snag a few extra of the cats.

I've never been drawn to black nail polish, myself; I avoid it along with red, in fact. Red is, of course, the color women traditionally do their nails... and black on a boy is a color that seems to go with Prentious Artiste behavior, which is something I despise.

So were you offering to pick up some cute-bottled black, or asking that I see if there's any down here and pick it up in return for... something?

I actually have several bottles of the black. They also have orange if you'd prefer. They used to have an orange & black glitter version, too, but everyone in this area seems to have sold out.
