egypturnashYeah, I think the end is near. She didn't respond at all when we talked to her, her breathing is loud and ragged even with the oxygen tube. We called various relatives and told them that if they want to see her one last time they'd better move, as her lifespan is probably measured in hours now.
I didn't have anything more to say to her, really. I said it all when we saw her on Monday. She was able to sort of respond then.

doctorpinkerton and not really thinking about it too much, if I can manage it. Maybe when I get back there'll be a phone call; maybe not. I hope so. I wouldn't wish being stuck that close to death on my worst enemy.
