I'm sitting here working on the 3 of Pentacles and listening to a stream of tango music direct from Argentina. And I'm thinking, you know what would be awesome? Tangos built with modern synthetic noises. Slutty, fluttery, sultry, bleepy screechy phasey tangos. If anyone happens to have such things in their collection I'd love pointers.
Also, it looks like spring has finally come to Boston. I went out to meet Nick at the Diesel café today and it was gorgeous - I was out in a top with no sleeves and felt nice and warm. It may dip into the low 40s by the end of the week but for the most part it seems that the studio is habitable again - and so is the back porch. Whee!

To think the blip'a'rific Uwe Schmidt, aka Atom, aka Atom Heart, aka Lassigue Bendthaus, aka lb, aka Atomu Shinzu, also has a side project doing latino covers of rock and pop classics!
It boggles the mind.
