I'm sitting here huddled against the heater, fearing the fact that soon I will have to brave the snow to get some Diet Coke. Argh, addictions.

I'm working on designing the pages for this comic Nick and I have been playing with. On a whim, I pencilled in a block in my sketches labeled 'ad area - text ads?'. Certainly not flashy distracty Flash ads if I can help it.

But I realized I won't be using Google's ads. Can't put them on pages with "adult content". And this is firmly that. Nudity, just-off-camera sex, various kinds of kink... I think it qualifies. It's debatable if cartoon nudity counts as "pornographic", but I'm going to be adapting the 'I hope you're an adult' script from the 'Naughty!' section of my site already.

I just find this somehow faintly amusing. Gotta protect the Google brand from being associated with the filth of the Internet. I bet they'll take ads for porn!

Hahaha, Google. Everybody loves (and unduly trusts) them. It's almost as if we still think they are a small company or something.
