check fc website and register ahead for
- con membership
- artist's alley table
- art show

and do the same as much as possible for anthrocon.

because doing the art stuff is fun and provides structure and goodness to my con that i've always completely lacked before.

(looking at ac's artist alley: no power and I really liked having my computer be an attract mode/reference search. anyone out there on my friends list whose usual ac dealer-room tablemates have shifted looking for a new person share?)

No, I don't think so - I need to find the date they'll be posting the openings and leave a note in my calendar to do this.

I'm also thinking seriously about AC dealing of course!

I certainly have more fun dealing than I do just attending, despite how I bitch about it.

I think next year I'm raising my rates!

Dealing drastically changes the social equations: if what you're selling is stuff people at all want, then people come to you and interact, instead of having to wander lonely like a cloud all around the con trying to connect with friends, strangers, and parties.

I'm pretty sure I'm raising my rates too. Just gotta figure out how.
