so - the combination of cold and lots and lots of talking has pretty much blasted out my voice.

except for one thing. i used to be a boy. i shifted my voice up a few notches to use a different part of my voicebox several years ago. this means that when it comes to losing my voice, i have an extra man.

unfortunately it's a man. it's gravelly from disuse and from all the phlegm falling down it.

i'm stuck doing impressions of doctor girlfriend.

i'm kinda enjoying it. especially because i have to be kinda monotone due to the lack of range down there. everything i say sounds four hundred times sleazier now. it keeps making me giggle. well, it would, except i just kinda chuckle nastily instead.

i will probably be totally mute tomorrow. i should get dolled up in my long slinky dress, borrowed corset, and creep everyone out while i still can.

I kinda like have cold-voice...especially if it puts me into Cookie Monster range or if it cuts out completely at times with no notice. I guess something about being ill needs to be amusing sometimes. ^o^

I also really like Doctor Girlfriend cuz I'm weird that way. She's all smart and a snappy dresser.
