This batch marked the passing of 1000 images in the sketchbook directory of my site. I wonder if I ought to prune it, or break it up by year. Dunno.


Nick had requested something involving the space squids from Jupiter. Or is it Saturn? I forget. Said squid ended up much more feminine than expected; I was in a pin-up mood last night.

Really, last night was a furries-but-no-furries night: things had animal signifiers but they were all very very human. In places.


Pretty spotty patterns.


Jestery spider. This one didn't hold together but I like the parts that worked.


Lavavixen with lamp on head. No, I don't know. I think the midnight champagne was having its effect on my drawing.

Space Squids from Saturn has that alliteration thing going for it, so it might have been that.

Good that you're sketching up a storm again. There was a while where you were in a slump.

it goes on and off. Not having a regular bus ride hurts a lot, and a period of lots of stuff drawn direct in pen without any scribbling around took a tool for a while too. Yay pencils and a mood to withdraw!
