The ships of R-Type. As girls. May contain nudity. Sometimes I don't want to understand Japanese people.

Hey, I have the game these are from! R-Type Final, the last in the series.

Some of these are actually kind of cool. And some of them are a little too focused on the ships'... er... cockpits.

It had to be said. >_>

(CAAAAAAAMELTOE)

Anthropomorphizing inanimate objects seems fairly common, as demonstrated by OS-tan / Trouble Windows (which you may have already seen).

There are cameltoes on things that should not have them.

I'm even more a fan of the military aircraft-tans. Can't find the image, but there's one of an XB70 floating around out there somewhere.

Japanese geekdom explained!

Take basically nice, kinda undersocialized geek. Add a visually rich culture which historically has more leeway for sexual exploration than the US and easy access to cheap consumer electronics. Put them into situation where as a smart person, they are expected to perform and perform and do amazing things and be fantastic successes - oh, and by the way, they're expected to be socially apt and meet a nice girl and did you know there's a recession on, so the chance of being a phenomenal success is about nil? (Tell me if any of that part starts sounding familiar.)

Shake and serve.
