From a few days ago, actually. Drawn while hanging out with Ashy watching some Red Dwarf.


Drawn while watching a sort of biopic on Goya.


Drawn during the same biopic. Based on some discussion with postrodent of a revision of a Puzzlebox character. The mech is stupidly dangerous and makes her more than a little crazy - but she wears bright colors and she has fun! (PS: Have you seen this on the wiki, Rik? It might spark intro plot fragments or something.)

I haven't been riding the bus anywhere, so I haven't been sitting in one place with little to do besides draw. This means less time spent with my sketchbook.

The two anthro pieces here exist for one of the all-too-traditional reasons for drawing the stuff: I'm in a long-distance relationship (aaargh!), and it's one of the ways I can communicate: draw stuff from my lovers' textual imaginings. I sit down to doodle and a lot of the time I end up thinking of them, so the scribbles skew that way.

I think five out of the last six pieces of art I posted are related to this, in some way. Not including a number of quick pencil sketches, some with rapid bits of color via Photoshop, that have appeared in comment exchanges or in e-mail.
