If I ever ran an RPG campaign, I would likely have the type of players who would have casually crossdressing adventurers. I mean, why not? Go out and save the world from Horrible Menaces Beyond Time, and look sexy doing it.

I read a bit of a collection of that, but didn't really get into it. (And I know Postvixen will scream in agony if she sees this comment.)

The idea of cross-dressing pulp adventurer is riffing off of something I did when my single male character on Furry, who's often a CD (when he's not just xenogendered), wandered into a "vanilla furries" place that claimed to be RP-oriented. In drag. And since the vibe was people being mystical adventurers at each other, he started dropping hints that he's a frequent viewer of Things Best Left Unseen, someone who has Lovecraftian Adventures beyond Time And Sanity... and I guess the idea of a guy full of arcane knowlege, who goes on strange adventures, and happens to look damn cute in a dress, just kinda stuck.

Heh... Years and years and years ago, I played a Champions character called 'Flame' (Imaginative, I know) that was a sexy crossdressing super-hero by night and a gay shoplifting homeless boy by day. Actually to this day that was one of my favourite characters, and what a way to rack up the Disadvantage points!
