Went to a party last night at [livejournal.com profile] chrissawyer's place. It was fun. Socializing with people I don't have to hide half of myself around is always nice.

I drew some silly shit while I was there, too...

[livejournal.com profile] dustmeat's ultimate con outfit, I said. The cryptic caption is an actual quote.

Naugas are what Naugahyde couches are made from. The company that made that brand of faux leather did actually make promotional stuffed Naugae from the stuff; I've never seen one, but I've seen photos. They came up in conversation, and how could I resist showing off this gem of useless information by scrawling out a Nauga from memory?

*g* There were other random strange things scrawled, those are just the ones that actually were worth preserving. My sketchbooks are filled with crap!

I need to do it far more often.

I came sooo close to showing off my boobs at one point, too. Without any alcohol flowing at all.

There's always Chris's place.

And Tess's too, obviously. Though I do need to get in touch with Chris again, check when he's going to have a get-together the next time. It's fun going over there.

Though if you're that outgoing without alchohol... remind me to be careful when you're around actual booze. =^.-=

Is it like showing off a new dress?

Hmmm, I wonder if Naugas are from Artesia...

Wait a minute, 'Chris Sawyer' - not the 'Rollercoaster Tycoon' author Chris Sawyer?!?? Tell him that Jeannine LOVES his game...

Nope, wrong Chris Sawyer.

And yes, he gets asked that a lot, I'd imagine. *laughs*

No, the dino/bird-oriented furry artist Chris Sawyer.

But, is it The Hory Froating Head?

No. It is just a Very Happy Floating Head.

You can tell it's happy; it has a little heart coming out of it, you see...

Oh what things Google can find: Adopt a Nauga. Nauga History is amusing as well. I like your Nauga design better, though.

Damn. I did get the design a little off. Well, I got the basic shape mostly right, if exaggerated... but the eye-patch is really part of the core of the things.
