I'm thinking about style borrowing, originality, and the accusations of 'art theft' that are so common in amateur furry art circles (probably other amateur art circles, too, but animal-head people is the only one I participate in).
Maybe I should make a little 'art theft' page on my website. Not to publicly humiliate people who I feel have ripped me off - as far as I know, nobody ever has - but rather to show who I'm ripping off every time I put pencil to paper. There haven't been any tracings or direct swipes (aside from blatantly obvious parody), but it might be interesting to really show my influences, rather than just mention the names now and then.
