Blinds are good.
Darkness and solitude are good.
Hot chocolate on a cold night is good.

Nair is good.

A vacation for your roommate is also a vacation for you. :)

Enjoying a weekend without all those nasty little dragon habits that don't usually get talked about in public?

I didn't breathe a sigh of relief at the absence of your habits, no. But what exactly did you do to this coffee pot?

Teakettle. Left on the stove with milk heating up for the above-mentioned hot chocolate, for rather longer than it should have been. Er, oops.

Which reminds me that I need to get milk tonight.

Better get a new coffeepot, too. Charred casein isn't just going to wash off. :)

I'd concur with every item, except that Nair doesn't seem to work too well for me. :P

I can't imagine it's much good on feathers. Ha-ha. I'd be perfectly happy without any body hair except for maybe eyebrows, but noooo, I have to be a mammal.

I should make that hot chocolate before I go to bed.

Nair = dud

I agree with everything but the Nair as well. If it has any effect at all (I've tried it with about two or three different types of Nair) the effects last less long than shaving, as well as the effects of shaving were smoother. So I'm like, "I'd rather spend forever risking cuts than spend forever smelling that crap." Very envious for those it does work on, however. ;)

It works for me. Honest.

You have to put it on fairly thick and leave it long enough to destroy the hair's structural integrity; the part about wiping it off with a washcloth is also crucial - the rough cloth helps grab the hair and tug it off. I also get best results when I ignore the part about 'do not re-apply for 24 hours' and do a second go after rinsing it off, just gooping up the inevitable missed swathes. Clean-up, you know?
