Funny thing is, though it's my 'official' online persona, I don't use this shape much on Furrymuck, what with one thing and another. Not any more.

I was thinking the pose was more pissyish than seductive, but I really can't tell tonight.

Date: 2004-01-15 12:34 am (UTC)Mostly it's a matter of having a good pencil rough to start with, then layering stuff up and starting to build up overlapping shapes. (Normally the head would be a lot more shapes - but in this case I went with a simple, boring profile.) I do more in the way of detailing in AI than I used to, but a good pencil rough is still the most important part of my process.
