Far longer drive down than was anticipated - heavy traffic. She got some hormones (I did not, I'm stocked up for the moment). There was talk of sticking around, but frankly, I was getting a bit of the Fear from being in what clearly read to me, despite its ragged difference, as being the tourist zone. I grew up in a city that has two industries, oil out in the Gulf of Mexico and fleecing tourists. And I wasn't up to going exploring for non-tourist stuff because, well, I still worry about passing, and I don't want to think about failing that in the middle of a bunch of people who don't even speak the same language as. Yes, mild xenophobia from a xenophile, funny, that.

My butt hurts from sitting in the car.

So that's my adventure.

PS. Tijuana is really stinky.

I was hoping it'd be more exciting..! But, good time spent with a friend, right? I love trips like that, but rarely find the excuse, I'm afraid. Plus, I wouldn't mind being close enough to some place to get my hormones so cheap as to make it worth it..

I notice you reference Dr. Thompson with the capitalization of Fear. :) Yes.. Tourist traps, LA and New York bring that same reaction out in me. The need to climb the walls... quickly.
