Kill Bill 2. Saw it.

*shrug*

I was expecting violent ballet and style and moral ambiguity, and instead I just got a big pile of references to the stuff I never bothered watching on Sunday afternoon in the 70s. I stopped caring about The Bride's quest for revenge about halfway through. This may also have been partially due to the fact that all my jeans need washing, so I wore shorts, and it was cold in the theatre, so my legs got chilly, making it hard to forget myself and just watch the movie.

So that's pretty much my review. Kill Bill 2 - possibly okay if you don't wear shorts.

You're killing me, Peggy. Did we watch the same movie?

I agree. Volume One was just beautiful to watch, this one was a bunch of pop culture references which I mostly failed to get.
