a moment of worry
Jan. 23rd, 2004 09:48 amI've been using Apple's Mail lately. Seem to have decided to switch over. I've got it sorting stuff much more interestingly than Eudora did, plus when I click on a link in a piece of mail it actually goes to the browser I have set as the default rather than trying to launch Mozilla because of some lingering preference from my OS9 days.
As I train its junk-mail filter, I'm beginning to worry. While I get junk on both my email accounts, I get a lot more on the one attached to my DSL account. I'm worrying that I'm going to end up training it that being sent to my pacbell.net account is a completely reliable indication of it being junk! Well, I'll just wait until it starts reliably marking junk itself, and watch for a few real messages to come in to that address.
Or maybe I should have a go at creating egypt.urnash.com...

Date: 2004-01-23 10:39 am (UTC)I don't remember if OS9 really had anywhere to set the default browser. Might not have. Eudora sure doesn't.
