"progress"
Feb. 21st, 2008 07:30 pmToday I iterated on a character design, and actually laid down some paths on one of the pages of Absinthe. Woo. I'm looking at this double-page spread, with a corner begun, and a huge expanse of cityscape sprawled across it. It's going to take a while but it's good to have even a little motion again on this after several months of work/depression/winter/Tarot - and having this spread done will mean one of the biggest individual chunks of work for the first chapter is out of the way.
But mostly I played a video game. I think I'm about 1/3 of the way through Tomba! on the emulated Playstation (thanks, Alicia!) which is really quite delightfully idiotic.
I am also going slightly crazy because I broke a number of my fingernails over the past month or so, and have filed the remaining ones back somewhat to match. Gah. Not having long fingernails is weird. My fingertips hurt from hitting the keyboard.
Also, if you get an IM conversation that opens like this:
nimpomatic: your private friends-only posts have been stolen: http://shatterstripes.on.nimp.org/?u=r4l
...don't click on the link, as it's a lie. It's actually bringing you to a page full of gross-out imagery (eye surgery, assholes, etc) and sound files that shout "Hey everybody! I'm looking at gay porno on the internet!". Yay trolls.
