clever video

Directed by the same guy who did that fabulous TV Show video that's doing the rounds right now. What I find interesting about this one is how incredibly fast it is - huge portions of it have the bare minimum number of frames needed to register on your mind. It's made even faster by the fact that most of it is line-art; there's this phenomenon well-known to animators where things feel faster as pencil tests than after they're colored. I find myself wondering if the mostly-B&W was a deliberate choice to create a more frenetic impression.

There's a lot less animation in this video than there seems to be at first glance, and I am quite impressed with how the lack of animation is orchestrated.
