Hmmm. I think I may have just wasted at least an hour on this 'Penrose tiles in a stained glass window' idea. Mostly because piecing them together by hand is a real pain - I should just start with a big chunk and do the recursive segmenting thing if I'm going to try again tomorrow.

I might also use them for the floor, so all is not lost.

Oh geeze yes.

Bits and pieces from the MG books (column collections) I read in the library around the age of 10 pop up in my mind sometimes. I still find mathemagical subjects more exciting than most suspense fiction. Ruined for life, I suppose.
