This month-old image came to mind after I did my original sketch for the Chariot. I gave thought for using it for Strength but it didn't happen. Looking at what I drew, I decided that my rough had some nice qualities - interestingly distracted expressions on both sphinxes, a general sense of nobody driving - but was, ultimately, nothing more and nothing less than "Peggy's take on the Smith-Waite imagery". Which is boring. So I appropriated this from a month ago instead and did a little touch-up on it. Now it refers to the familiar image, but inverts and transforms it.

Date: 2007-10-17 11:17 pm (UTC)(The spread of Doove's "chakat" label for "cat-taur" is one I've always been amused by. I see people who weren't born when that term was invented using it, and wonder how long it'll survive. If I see it in a completely non-furry work...)

And so very PEGGY.
