Yeah, not really my usual thing, is it? I picked one of the tigers because I knew the stripes would offer some sort of design opportunity; this bubbled up a few weeks back then got left on a notecard while other stuff jumped on me until the deadline loomed.

Deadlines'll do that. My cards for the bestiary deck were so very non-anthro because I'd put off doing them until the last minute. Still, if you can put work off to the last minute and still pull of something that looks as charming as this then, yes, you are ready to comercially art-whore* yourself further.

The brief for this deck is non-anthro. Although if I'd had a decent mental model of What Tigers Are Shaped Like without reference, I probably would've done something more abstract; this's awfully representational considering some of my initial vague thoughts!

(And thanks for the reply to that email. It all just comes down to the social stuff, doesn't it. Someday I'll manage to learn to do that.)
