Two things from Friday night, hanging out with Evan.

Much much more later. I need to go out and run some errands and ponder some raw materials.

This guy started as me mocking the general design theories of 'Rock and Rule' but turned into something much more interesting. He's an ANARCHIST. You can tell by the bombs. Plus he kinda has that Dr. Robotnik/Sgt. Pepper vibe going.

Were this 1995 he'd be a fine proposal for a platform game character.

Whoever the second one is, I like him. XD

And the first one I had to stare at for a long time.

You know, despite the existence of bigger budget games, platformers are probably more popular today than they were in 1995. The "casual games" market does grow along with the rest of the gaming market.

That round guy looks like me.
(Though I am not much of an anarchist these days...)

The top one is definitely doing one of those charming Spiny Blue Platform Game Character poses that make Sonic and company look like complete Unflattering Words Here. I love it.

I was going to make a joke about "eating your words", then it struck me that you already did.
