a passing thought from the con

There were three people with short pink hair at FC07, as far as I know.

All three of them were women. All three were behind tables.

(me, doronjosama, and a woman from bunnywarez.)

Where'm I going with this? Nowhere in particular. Just a random observation. I was the only person with any unnatural color of hair I saw once we'd left the con; I stood out in airports full of businesspeople.

By next year, I want to be able to do the colored hair thing. (I intended to for AC, but I couldn't find a place in Pottstown to do anything for me!) But then, by next year, I want to be clear of facial fuzz, and presenting.

Next year, I think I'm going to go with some bright blue or purple streaks, bwaha! Oooo...or neon green or yellow streaks! Decisions, decisions...Oh well, it's not like I don't have enough time to decide ;)

Bright hair is great for being recognized cons - being able to say "she's got bright blue and purple hair" narrows it down to a hell of a lot less people.

Given how many furry avatars have weird hair colors you'd think more people would do it, but, well, it is one more damn thing to cram into the week before the con. Plus normal jobs.

Yeah, that's true. I hadn't thought of that. Haha, a few people waited until they got there to color this year. I bet the staff will have fun with all those colored towels *snicker*
