happy place music
Jan. 10th, 2007 09:43 amThese two songs both push some little happy button deep inside me. In a completely unironic fashion. There's just some part of me that still wants to be all of one year old, being exposed to really earnest and silly Englishness. Okay, and Scottishness. To a one-year-old American kid it's pretty much all the same.
(Neither of these things were actually around when I was tiny - but they both remind me of some faint, faint memory.)
Anyway, let's see if I can get one of these spider pictures finished off today.

Date: 2007-01-10 03:41 pm (UTC)... of course, I misheard the lyrics... I always thought it was Far, Far Away... but I did love it...

Date: 2007-01-10 08:13 pm (UTC)I originally found out about them when I found out that the two Quiet Riot songs I liked ("Cum On Feel The Noize" and "Mama Weer All Crazee Now") were actually Slade covers. I still like the QR versions better, but found that the rest of QR's songs were not nearly as interesting.
