sketchbook (3/3)
Jan. 9th, 2007 07:19 pmlast of three!

Peter Elson compositional riffs in the ground-plane here. The dark parts should be mostly black, with little bits of red peeking through - lava flows or something.

I was not really feeling verbal enough to explain how my brain was working here. I was very visual; I was seeing the whole image in my mind's eye and trying to capture it on the paper. My inaccuracies would change what I saw in my mind's eye, in an interesting feedback loop.

I really like something about the weird motion of this one.

One last spider fragment! Needs some detailing and a fourth panel before I use it - we'll see what happens.
