Original sketch from June 2003. It turned into this today. Also, I feel like this really wants to be painted on plexiglass, without the yellowy bg layer...
I especially love the simple, inky lines for the background. They say so much with so little. I think I'd hate to see it on plexi only in that whateever was behind it, unless a white wall, or something similarly blank, would detract from the details. Perhaps, the foreground on plexi, but mounted a half inch off some planned bg? Vague shapes with no harsh lines?
I saw this on Fur Affinity earlier today, but that site is sodding slow so I couldn't be arsed to do anything about it.
It's great though. I would definitely like to see this on plexiglas (ooh, trademark infringement) as you mentioned, but stuff like that doesn't really translate well into a photograph. You'd be obligated, err, begged to make a video wherein the camera is revolved around the piece, so that those of us on the internets can get the full experience. Sort of. :)
