She Came Riding

The rains rushed in to fill the void.

Original sketch from June 2003. It turned into this today. Also, I feel like this really wants to be painted on plexiglass, without the yellowy bg layer...

I especially love the simple, inky lines for the background. They say so much with so little. I think I'd hate to see it on plexi only in that whateever was behind it, unless a white wall, or something similarly blank, would detract from the details. Perhaps, the foreground on plexi, but mounted a half inch off some planned bg? Vague shapes with no harsh lines?

Yeah, that's sort of what I'm thinking. In front of some kind of Interesting Texture or something...

Some nice watercolor paper/gouache mixture perhaps?

I saw this on Fur Affinity earlier today, but that site is sodding slow so I couldn't be arsed to do anything about it.

It's great though. I would definitely like to see this on plexiglas (ooh, trademark infringement) as you mentioned, but stuff like that doesn't really translate well into a photograph. You'd be obligated, err, begged to make a video wherein the camera is revolved around the piece, so that those of us on the internets can get the full experience. Sort of. :)
