Might I suggest finding a 3-2 that has a grounding wire coming off of it? If the socket you're using dosen't have a ground plug, you should be getting it from somewhere, cause grounding is good.

I'm naturally curious about all the wrong things, and I'm not sure what you mean by three-to-two-prong adaptor. Enlighten me? D:
