I really hate riding the bus. I left work a little late, the subway was pulling out of the station as I came down the escalator. Then when I walked a couple blocks from the subway to transfer to the bus that takes me back to Glendale, I just missed it - it pulled off just as I came running across the street to the corner. This has been happening all too often in the past few weeks. (The bus driver can't see me coming from where they are, so it's not them being mean.)
So I had to wait. In that time I think I did the stuff on at second scan. I know I did the cockatrice.
And then when I finally got on the bus home, I was caught up in another drawing (not shown here) missed my stop and had to walk back four or five blocks. You see, I know how long it takes me to get from where I get on to where I get off, and tend to zone out with a book or my sketchbook; the back of my mind pokes me to direct my attention outward when it's time. Unless I catch the bus late, in which case it gets there somewhat faster because there's less traffic and less passengers to pick up and drop off.
*sigh*
I did, however, make it to Trader Joe's at the very last minute; I needed to buy some stuff for supper. So that was a little bit of an up. I'm still sooooo tired and grumpy, though.
