I saw this stuff in a store and simply fell in love with the tin and reaaally wanted to get it, but they wanted $2-$4 at the place if I remember correctly, after tax's added in.

Just wondering if it's worth that. I figure it is, even if I hate the gum. The tin is awesome, and you pay that much and more for tins alone sometimes in shops.

I think I paid a buck fifty for it at Trader Joe's. For cinnamon and a black dragon on the cover, a buck fifty was worth it, and the gum is nicely cinnamony, as well. Cinnamon is a scent that's associated with my character on Furrymuck; her smoke-breath smells faintly cinnamon, so the scent hovers around her.

... I discovered DragonFire Gum. I was inspired to send them this Letter (http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=koogrr&itemid=21323). A couple weeks later I received a reply, which wasn't as fun as I was hoping.

YES! LOVE that stuff. The red and black (with the bit of gold) packaging ALONE prompted me to buy - and the dragon on it is the icing on the cake. Even the PDQ counter display-box was nice; why can't they let me do stuff like that at work?

Of course, anything "fire"-related is welcome too, and I LOVE synnamon - uh, cinnamon. Yeah.
Mmmm.

Restores my faith in niche marketing and demographics as a science :^)

I like Cinnamon Altoids, personally. And now I'll have to look around to find these as well!
Woot!

I tried the Cinnamon Altoids and was underwhelmed - not much taste to them, an unpleasant mixing of mint, and a texture that put me in mind of soap, once my saliva interacted with it.

The problem with this is that it's gum, so you have to find somewhere to spit it out once the cinnamoniness wears off. It's still cool, though. And it has a black dragon on the tin!
