The bg was yellow for a while, and sometimes her dress was off-white. But it just didn't work that way.

Addendum: Seems I'm unconsciously ripping off the Batman Beyond villain "Spellbinder" here - image. Something like that was certainly in the back of my head, along with swirly hypno-effects, when I drew this. Credit where credit is due! Thanks to dv_girl for the name and the image link.

I think I did. I knew the idea of "spiral face" was from somewhere else as I was drawing it. Ah well.

The spiral even turns the same way! Hee. I'm so much less original than I look.
