I wanted to work on some art. Feeling rusty, I scanned a particularly nice bit of hand doodling from my sketchbook along with the sketch I really wanted to work on, and had at the hands as a warm-up.

Now I'm tired and just wanna go to bed. sigh

Oh well. Tomorrow. It's called "Emergent Behavior", by the way.

One and a half hours in AI, maybe two. At least fifteen minutes, if not twenty or more, were spent playing around with the colors after all the paths were done, and trying alternate background treatments.

I like the colors, I love the "solarization" feel of the shadows. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the starbusrt things in the background. For me, especially against all the nice organic stuff in the foreground, they feel too cold, too mathematic, too "perfect."

However, the contrast of it all is rather nifty in itself.
