bus doodles
Mar. 20th, 2004 02:45 pmHere's a couple bus doodles. I seem to be in a mood to play with the conventions of what a lot of people who can't draw but love to use AI call "vector art"...

Also, I think I need to rip off this composition for a piece of teasing cheesecake. Except I'd do it with a white towel on a white bg - I can see it working so well.
I added in some silly stuff I drew tonight. It made myself and
ultraken laugh when I scribbled it out, maybe it'll make you laugh too, or maybe it was just a fading caffeine high...
I haven't done any pseudo-Kirby stuff in a while. Tonight seemed to be the night to remedy this.

Git off mah lawn, you damn kids, before I blast thee into oblivion with the power cosmic of mah eyebeams!

Mental note- start calling it non-uniform rational B-spline instead.

Date: 2004-03-20 09:01 pm (UTC)You must look forward to many, many awkwardly adapted images of female models with gradated hair from me in the near future.
Or soft drink cans, cars or iPods.

Date: 2004-03-23 05:52 pm (UTC)btw I can NOT imagine what it would be like to be in your shoes and work at a place like Spumco. Seems like it would terribly difficult in that atmosphere, to function and/or feel good. But then, you've never seemed like a pushover.

Curiously enough, I'm not the only MtF in orbit around Spümcø. Though she's lately given up on her transition, due to... a lot of things. Not my story to tell. Luckily the only people around Spümcø have been polite, though they whisper; the most loudly homophobic regular part of the crew hasn't been around for the on-and-off animatic work I've been doing!
