Here's a couple bus doodles. I seem to be in a mood to play with the conventions of what a lot of people who can't draw but love to use AI call "vector art"...

Also, I think I need to rip off this composition for a piece of teasing cheesecake. Except I'd do it with a white towel on a white bg - I can see it working so well.

I added in some silly stuff I drew tonight. It made myself and [livejournal.com profile] ultraken laugh when I scribbled it out, maybe it'll make you laugh too, or maybe it was just a fading caffeine high...

I haven't done any pseudo-Kirby stuff in a while. Tonight seemed to be the night to remedy this.

Git off mah lawn, you damn kids, before I blast thee into oblivion with the power cosmic of mah eyebeams!

Do those of us who use XaraX still fall into that category? :P

Mental note- start calling it non-uniform rational B-spline instead.

I dunno, do a lot of XaraX users like to take a photo of a car, a motorcycle, or a girl, spend several hours laboriously tracing it, usually with lots of gradients, sometimes as a few simple colors, and call the result 'their art'?

If I photo-trace that scooter, I hope to find a photograph of a dented, rusting one to work with. n.n

Bleh, tracing... I only ever do that when I want to create a wallpaper out of an otherwise small original image. Finding 1600x1200 backgrounds is a pain. :/
Wouldn't qualify that as art though, no. If the original sketch isn't your work, well...

Jus' joined IllustratorWorld meself. Found I've got enough work to justify an account with another gallery.
You must look forward to many, many awkwardly adapted images of female models with gradated hair from me in the near future.
Or soft drink cans, cars or iPods.

It's a trend that just calls out for mockery, isn't it? Even more so than drug-addled bigpants furries.

That one's my favorite too. It's like and old, short Darkseid standing around in his briefs yelling at the kids on his lawn.

....did I just read your latest(as of 3/23)post aright? If so, it blew my mind. I feel like I must have dreamt it. Hmmm. Just for the record, as an occasional poster in your journal, and as a woman, I've always thought of you as 200% female and feminine(also,no that it should matter, but very pretty, judging from your self-portraits, both drawn and photographed).

btw I can NOT imagine what it would be like to be in your shoes and work at a place like Spumco. Seems like it would terribly difficult in that atmosphere, to function and/or feel good. But then, you've never seemed like a pushover.

: )

Yep, you did. I have a penis, and it's not made of plastic. The self-portraits are of course idealized; who doesn't, unless they're in a self-hating mood? And the few photos are carefully cropped and selected.

It's good to hear so many times that I definitely read as female in text, though. And to be thought of as pretty. *blush*

Curiously enough, I'm not the only MtF in orbit around Spümcø. Though she's lately given up on her transition, due to... a lot of things. Not my story to tell. Luckily the only people around Spümcø have been polite, though they whisper; the most loudly homophobic regular part of the crew hasn't been around for the on-and-off animatic work I've been doing!
