Day before yesterday I was woozy and a little throat-scratchy. Yesterday my head began to ache. Today I woke up with sinuses full of slime.

I got me a cold. I think it's second-hand con crud - paka visited a few days go, with an unheeded warning that he was on the edge of the Pantheacon con crud. Last night, while I slept, it blossomed.

Sudafed's taken the worst edge off. So has crawling out of bed and taking a shower. I think I'll live. I'm just glad I left my allergies behind when I moved out of New Orleans; I was a little bit like this all the time, back there.

The end of the world will begin with a convention born virus. Not specifically a anthro convention, but definatly a convention of some sort. Con-crud is to be feared! Centers for Disease control really should sit up and take more notice when large conventions happen in their cities when particular virulent strains are wandering arounnd so that people could at least get innoculated.

Meh! Anyways, if you have an Asian Food store near you, try out some "black black" gum, anise and liniment, cuts through head colds so you can breathe like you were bearing of clear sinuses.

Anythin labeled "highly technical chewing gum" has to work right?
