I just realized.

Last weekend: Visit from [livejournal.com profile] protocat.
This weekend: probable craziness with [livejournal.com profile] ashryn.
Next weekend: Renfaire with [livejournal.com profile] ultraken. (He will so need a break from This Modern World after a month of E3 crunch coding weekends, and [livejournal.com profile] roon tantalized me with free tickets...)
22nd/23rd: Nothing... yet.
29th: Hopefully showing art at Trans/Giving 3.

The 'get out and socialize' switch in my life seems to have been thrown by someone. This is just so weird to me. Unexpected. Nice, but I still don't know how to deal with it.

No pants or shirt?

Maybe a big floppy hat.

One way to deal with it is to make a 24 hour comic inbetween weekends...:"D

"Hey, I won't be in tomorrow. I'm doin' a 24-hour comic."

The advantage of working in an animation studio is, of course, that people would probably know what the hell I'm talking about, and might even wish me luck.

[livejournal.com profile] roon is a sweetie. You should go and at least try on a bodice. Rowl! Hehehe! I swear one of the side effects of hormones is 'social life'. It's bad for us hermits. :)

Good to hear, everyone should get out and socalize a little now and then. I know far too many people that I rarely see because they don't socialize hardly at all, or consider online time to be all the socializing they need.

Personally, I also find that I'm at my best, creatively, when I'm out and about.

I never considered online to be all the socializing I needed - it's just that it was all I felt comfortable with, because it was one of the few places I could be me. That and the occasional appearance at a con.

I just wonder if I'll have time to get any art done with this busy schedule. Eek!

Peggy, do you have a schedule for Trans/Giving? Is it open to the public?

I would love to attend -- it's close to home, coincides with my interest in gender studies, and I'd see your art which is a nice bonus. ;) Doing Reflections (http://www.laburn.com) that weekend, which makes it tough for me, but maybe I can make part of it...

Yeah, it's open to the public. I'm not sure of the exact time schedule, but I know the date. I went to the first one and it was kinda an evening/night sort of affair of performance and art - one night only. I'll probably make some mention of it when the actual date approaches and the time gets broadcast...

Also I could give you those CDs I've got for you, if I don't get around to mailing them off before then! Heh.

Hey, I checked transgiving.org, it's 6:30-10PM. Shouldn't have a problem attending :)

Tell Ashryn I said hello. The Trans/Giving event sounds interesting, but I already have other committments that weekend so I wouldn't be free to see it. Best of luck with the show.

And I'm hoping that we might even see you at Chris's......hummm? I haven't been designed on in months!

Oh yeah, I know exactly how you feel. I love being social, but I also need time for myself, time to process things, time for my own personal brain-gasms. Balancing it is hard.

Hope it does you good, and I think it will. Smile, Peggy, you are pretty!
