Long dream that was half reading a story, half being the main character, half listening to him tell his story. Who was some sort of religious black-ops guy. There was a point where he had to get out of an area the same way he got in, through some carnivorous guard birds; he'd been provided with a way to fool them to get in, but it was one-shot, and he vaguely suspected he wasn't supposed to return from this mission.

His narrating voice abruptly stopped mid-sentence as I woke up, lying on my side.

I knew he was a dream voice when I asked what happened next and got no reply. Instead, after a moment, someone slid into bed behind me, embracing me from behind and holding me still, wrapping the fingers of one hand with mine. Was it Ashy? I tried to ask but couldn't talk. And they didn't say anything, didn't respond when I managed to move a finger on my otherwise-immobile body, gouging into the hand it was curled up with... no reaction... just a growing nugget of fear in me...

Then I woke up. Lying on my side. Something I quickly remedied.

If I'm to be visited in my sleep by incubi, can I at least get fucked by them? They're supposed to be demon lovers, not demon snugglers.
