For all you folks out there who use OSX...

I hate finding PDFs on the web; the browser never handles them 'properly' - it just saves them to disk and I have to go use Preview or the Adobe reader to look at it. This is enough hassle that I generally avoid looking at anything in a PDF.

Well, I found a solution, finally: a browser plugin that puts PDFs where they belong, in the browser window. Free for personal/educational use, too, so go grab that little bastard and never be annoyed again by a download window popping up when you thought you were just web-browsing.

In other news, for those of you who don't get to read the more locked entries in my LJ, I finished up the animatic I was doing for Spümcø, and on my way home, I ran into someone I know who might be able to get me some freelance at one of the studios that actually pays worth a damn. So yay. Details if it actually happens.

Been using that plug-in for almost a year since i found it on www.versiontracker.com. I would recommend a bookmark of this site has I found some OS X gems like yours, or this little App (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/16349), that will allow you to play System 7 Sounds within the finder itself, without resorting to iTunes or Quicktime to open them up, just like on OS 9.

Just FYI.

Yeah, I look around Versiontracker every now and then, when it's not so sloooow it keeps timing out my browser. I never would've thought to go looking for that particular thing, though, so I wouldnt've seen it unless I just happened to look at VT in the week or so it's on the front page!
