So yesterday evening, I got distracted from some art I'm working on. I had this idea in the back of my mind for a while that blog software could be interestingly subverted for web-comic presentation: comments on each strip, a strongly-sequential nature, streamlined workflow for entries consisting largely of a single image, and the whole RSS thing for, say, an LJ feed... An offhand comment I made to that effect on
koogrr's LJ left me with an urge to see if it'd really work.
Google found me a blog software feature-ref chart and I started checking out links.
(Disclaimer: I ignored all-on-another-website solutions. I also ignored stuff designed as web galleries, and explicit "comics" presentation scripts. I did not delve deep into the configuration of any of these, nor did I care to play with any plugins - this is looking at an unmodified installation.)
( This gets geeky. )
