hair color

egypturnashThere is something almost obscene, in a subliminal way, about dark hair with bright pink hair showing beneath it. The pink is still reasonably intense; it was just fading in a few places here and there. I put purple on the top layer of most of my hair, and blue on the bangs (why not?), leaving the lower layers of hair pink.
If it doesn't work I can always just go back and add more purple to it, scrubbing it in to get all the hair.

Drat. The purple ran over the pink beneath when I rinsed, and the sharp contrast has become more of a subtle gradienty thing. Oh well, it's still pretty cool, and should look good tomorrow or the day after once it's dry and the excess dye is all gone. Right now the purple almost looks black, which is what the hair mostly was before I ever started bleaching and dying in the first place! The bangs are a distinctly different darkness, as I'd made them blue.
