Me to rainwing on my library:

Lacking gold to hoard iRL, my draconic nature comes out in my library. I even used to end up sleeping in the middle of a lot of them... when I was a kid, I'd take a book to bed with me all the time, and just put it on the side of the bed when I went to sleep. And not put it back on the shelf the next day. Eventually half my bed would be covered with books, some slipping down between bed and wall... I had to quit doing that, sorta, once I got bigger. But now that I have a queen-size bed, I have several books scattered on it!

I tend to do that as well. I'll fall asleep reading a book and just never re-shelve it, and I've come to actually *like* the clutter. I guess we dragons think alike.

I used to do that, and I'd keep my current book under my pillow. Then I moved in with Billy and all my books, fluffy throw pillows and stuffed animals were no longer allowed on the bed. :C

B is probably more cuddly a bed companion than thirty or so paperbacks. On the other hand, books never steal all the covers or snore. *grin*

You can't accidentally hit a paper back in the nutz either.

Last night I went to bed hours before him and when I woke up later at 5am I was hugging and straddling the comforter like it was a person. I sleepily reached behind me to see if Billy was there and accidentally hit (lightly, but I've been scolded for similar taps before) him in the nuts. He made a noise but didn't really wake up and I felt wicked guilty and gave him the whole blanket and put Truck Bear in between us so he could steal him if he wanted.
