unpleasant comparasion
Sep. 27th, 2003 01:16 pmUsing someone else's computer, when it has been lovingly customized away from the defaults, is like wearing someone else's dirty underwear. There's just this itchy feeling of wrongness at the back of your head.
When it's the default setup of a mostly-uncustomized installation, that's fine. But when there's all kinds of little programs adding this functionality or that... *shudder*

Date: 2003-09-27 09:33 pm (UTC)My icons are all standard, but both my desktop image and the skin I use for Audion (iTunes is uuuugly) are my own art. I'm not interested enough in custom icons to draw a whole suite, and I wouldn't really want someone else's.
