egypturnashMy Wacom tablet up and died this morning. It was working fine last night, but this morning it refused to do anything. Took it in to work, plugged it in, nothing. The pen works fine on the exact same model tablet (graphire2) that's plugged into the work computer, so it's the tablet.
Crap. I'm pretty sure it's out of warranty, of course. I think I still have all the assorted junk that came in it, so I can check. I've become absolutely dependent on the thing, too; it's completely replaced my mouse for all non-typing interaction with the computer.
[Addendum: I e-mailed Wacom and was pleased to discover that their warranty is for one full year. Yay! Now to call customer service and get it in the mail.)
