I have finally unpacked from I-Con. And in doing so, I'm assessing the state of the Tarot prints I brought - and putting them up for sale again. Lower this time, as they've been kicking around the studio for a year and a half now, and I'd really love to not have to haul them to Seattle!

These are all one-off prints, signed and numbered. They're as close as a digital artist like myself gets to "originals".

All links lead to the full image; these thumbnails are the tight crops used for my gallery pages.

MAJORS: $200 each. These are gorgeous, huge prints - about 20x32". They will brighten the heck out of a room.

Were you serious about trading liquor for art the other day? Because if so I am so up for that.

I think I'm gonna buy the 2 of Wands. Every now and then it keeps tugging at my mind that it should be in my possession for some reason.

Just chiming in to say that having seen these prints in person, they are even more gorgeous than they appear online. The stock they're printed on is sooooo nice.

Dang. Some one already snapped up the King of Wands. That was my favorite...

Actually he's still in my possession, I must have misread my old notes. He made it back from the con in fine condition, too!

[livejournal.com profile] eredien and I definitely want the 10 of Cups. We may also want the 4 of Cups, the 8 of Pentacles, and the Moon, (although if someone wants to jump us that's OK) and I'll take the 9 of Swords if I can figure out where in the fuck I would be willing to have it in my house. (Seriously, it's beautiful and powerful but I feel like I'd have to put it facing against the wall and that sort of defeats the purpose...)

I'd love to pay you to glass whatever we end up with if you have the time and willingness.

I'll be making decks again sometime soon, I think. And there's still the hope of a publisher for those!

I'll try to grab one when they go on sale, but right now I have only about $1000 to my name and no job. Not to say I haven't been applying for them, but you know.

I think you get a discount with that many, Mz. Patron Of The Arts! We'll work out how much to pay in b00z (I wasn't entirely serious but I was serious enough) and how much in cash.

And I'm gonna be putting glass on everything, experience has now shown me that that's a crucial component of the framing equation for prints...

If the prices already include glass that makes me much happier overall. :) As long as you're still making something on the whole thing, of course!

We'll work things out, it will be awesome.

She got a little funked up in transit to the con; she's yours for $40 if you'll have her.

Look at the base of the left tree. It almost works in the composition!

I have been there. Good luck finding your way through it. (Also, go apply for unemployment while you look if you haven't already, every little bit helps…)

Is the Sun, Moon, Star bundle still available? I would desperately love it. Would it be possible to hold those three until Friday, when I get paid?

Also, re: your notes above, are you coming to Seattle? Our green and grey, lichen and lattes world would welcome you!

Yeah, I should probably do, I just don't even know where to begin.

Sorry for complaining here meanwhile. I've been feeling kind of defeated in general lately and it's starting to catch up to me. Thanks for the well wishes. ♥

Oh, and good luck to you selling these prints. They are wonderful, but I'm noticing that people really undervalue art and design—both the creators and the consumers—especially if it's not from a big name like that one guy who did that boring Obama poster. Blech.

Yes, yes, and yes!

Green and grey is much preferable to Boston's brown and grey. And rain is much better than snow!

Oh, hurrah! That tryptich would make me very happy. (And I'm eagerly awaiting a time when I can get the whole deck!)

...And yes, I just love Seattle. Rain and clouds, green and silver, soft and wet. It's marvelous.

Those are amazing, amazing pieces.

My question is: how bad is the damage to the 3 of Pentacles (Creation)? It's the image that speaks most to me (outside of the Star, the Moon and the Sun, but Coraa got to those first), but if the damage is too bad, I'd rather have a smaller copy (or heck, just buy the entire deck when you can put it out there again!). There's something almost sacrilegious about displaying damaged art of that quality.

And I just noticed that I'm mucking with the lovely symmetry of the 21 comments to this post on the Tarot. Ah well.

Thanks. *grin*

All of the damage on the 3P is confined to a black area in the tree, so it's possible I could just touch it up with paint or a pen. Something lightfast. Have a look - and be aware that scrape looks a lot whiter in person, this is a phonecam shot.

If you could touch it up, I will buy it - and if you want to bump the price up to cover the cost of the touch-up, I certainly wouldn't object.

My mother has small prints of those three on her wall, all framed together. They look pretty good that way, especially if you go out of order and frame the very yellow Sun with the very blue Star and Moon.
