You know, it really never occurred to me that street view databases might exist for Europe, Japan, and other places I've been curious about. It's mind-blowingly obvious in a totally un-ironic and non-sarcastic way.
*nod* I was kinda amazed to find myself using it to give my boyfriend a tour of the parts of LA I used to live in, the other day. Never mind something like this.
Yeah. I still like Google because I feel like they're really improving public accessibility of knowledge and information. And useful services for free is nice.
That really is pretty cool. I would use this kind of thing as a precursor to traveling there, so I had a better feel of a place before going. Very very cool, and great that you could share a place with you BFs!
