Yay! I finally finished the double-page spread of 22/23, which means I get to upload everything up to page 27. The queue was getting dangerously low. Now I've got about a month in it.

Just four more pages to do in Illustrator, and I'll be done with the first chapter.

Is there any interest in me doing a physical book of the first chapter via print-on-demand? It'd be 32 pages of comic plus whatever extra stuff I throw in - maybe some sketchbook, a little of the fan art, I dunno. Call it forty pages plus cover and we get around $15 for a 7.5" square full-color book with a little bit of profit for us...

YES! Oh yes, please!

I'd go as far as suggesting prints of certain pages as well. The cityscape, as an example.

I have this idea in my head that I should integrate "Get a print of this page!" with a link to a page on Tugrik's website into every page... but I've been busy making sure the queue stays filled!

I'd pass on the fan art personally, but the first chapter with some bonus art from yourself would be a 100%er for me.

Really, there's no reason not to make a book available. It costs you nothing but time and you never know when there might be a spike in interest. Just make sure to stealth-order one for yourself first to check the printing and for errors.

Print = Yes please!

The new larger format works a lot better for me to read and enjoy, I'm loving it so much. A physical copy to hold would make me very happy!

I'd be interested -- but where can you get 40 page full color book made for that kind of price?

Internet!

blurb.com and lulu.com are both pricing softcover square books at around that. I could probably get them a lot cheaper if I was willing to invest in a hundred or so and solicit pre-orders from everyone - but I don't think I have the fanbase for that yet.

Absolutely yes.

And if you ever considered putting the art from your tarot together into a bound volume I would purchase that in an instant as well.
