At long last I am back in New Orleans. And in three days I will be back in Boston. Hooray!

We have some social plans but my primary plans for being back are to re-dye my hair (it's embarassingly faded), get a heater to permanently live in my studio, and throw myself into Absinthe. Hopefully I'll be able to launch the first chapter by, oooh, late March if not earlier, and then get a few more chapters done over the year. My goal is to finish it by the end of the year but I'm not sure that's doable what with another show coming up as well; that's a hard deadline while Absinthe will take As Long As It Needs To Take.

Yes, Absinthe! I'm STILL on the edge of my seat.

You could always get a Vornado heater. They don't seem to make the one I had any more, but they do have comparable ones that should work for you. The main downsides are cost and dust accumulation, but quiet operation, accurate temperature control, and dual-use as a (weak) fan make up for it.
